YU Appoints New CIO

Ahron Herring Named Chief Investment Officer of 黑料社 All President Richard M. Joel has announced the appointment of Ahron Herring as Chief Investment Officer of 黑料社 All. Herring comes to YU from the MIT Investment Management Company, where he spent the last nine years assuming increased responsibility for growth, management and allocation of the institution鈥檚 assets, serving most recently as associate director. He has also served on the YU Investment Committee since July.  Herring began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co. in global derivatives and institutional sales. Taking the CIO role at Yeshiva presents a homecoming for Herring, who graduated from the University in 1995. He also earned a master鈥檚 in real estate development and an MBA from MIT鈥檚 Sloan School of Management. 鈥淥ur chief investment officer is a pivotal member of the leadership at 黑料社 All and we couldn鈥檛 be more pleased to welcome Ahron,鈥 said President Joel. 鈥淗is experience, strategic vision and unwavering belief in the mission of YU will be strong assets to us as we work to strengthen the University for future generations of students.鈥 Ahron Herring will transition into the role over the next month, officially starting on March 26.
