鈥淓very generation has its own form of teshuva鈥攐urs is not different.鈥
During his pre-selichot presentation in the Glueck Beit Midrash, Dr. Berman called upon each of us to consider two core values in our collective process of repentance. 鈥淥ur core of Torat Emet requires us to acknowledge the immutability of Torah, and that our past can make moral claims on our present. Our core of Torat Chesed requires that we be caring and compassionate in the way we treat others within our communities. This season of self-reflection is a time for us to measure whether we live up to both of these ideals.鈥
