Cardozo student Ariel Cox鈥檚 paper, written for the ADR Writing Seminar, 鈥淪erve & Protect, Honor & Respect: Restoring the Victims and Rebuilding Police and Community Ties After Racially Charged Civilian-Police Incidents,鈥 won an Honorable Mention (2nd place) in the Boskey ADR Writing Competition sponsored by the ABA鈥檚 Section on Dispute Resolution. Rachel Schwartzman and Ahdieh Alipour Herisis, LL.M.鈥19, are winners of the 2019 NYSBA-ACCTM National ADR Law Student Writing Competition.
Bet Tzedek Clinic Students Hold Advanced Directives Pop-up Clinic
On Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, the students in the Bet Tzedek Civil Litigation Clinic held an Advanced Directives Pop-Up Clinic for constituents from New York State Assemblyman Al Taylor鈥檚 Northern Manhattan district. 2L students Tiffany Cheung and Tyler Dixon gave PowerPoint presentations on Health Care Proxies and Powers of Attorney, respectively, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
