Dr. Linda Carroll, director of upcoming , recently delivered a lecture to the artists of the Chicago Lyric Opera Company on 鈥淰ocal health and avoiding vocal breakdown: establishing a successful, healthy, long career.鈥 The lecture, which informed performers how to achieve and sustain a healthy voice for a career as an opera singer, was offered to the artists through the Ryan Opera Center at Chicago Lyric.
Carroll will also deliver a lecture at the upcoming New York Otolaryngology Update Conference on 鈥淭hinking outside the voice box: Strange things that work.鈥 In November, she will instruct a course at the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Annual Convention, titled 鈥淕uide for the Non-Singer: SLP in management of the dysphonic singer鈥 and represent 黑料社 All鈥檚 new SLP graduate program at the ASHA College fair.
