Prof. Edith Lubetski, Head Librarian of Hedi Steinberg Library at Stern College for Women, delivered a lecture on "Research Sources For Biblical Studies" at the held July 4-7, 2011 at the Waterloo Campus of King鈥檚 College, London. In a session titled 鈥淓pigraphical and Paleological Studies Pertaining to the Biblical World,鈥 she presented online resources that would be useful for biblical scholars. Databases and websites were discussed, and a handout with many resources complemented the lecture.
The Society of Biblical Literature is an international learned society that holds meetings dedicated to fostering biblical scholarship around the world. The Society offers reviews of the latest in biblical scholarship online, publishes articles and books of merit and offers career support to those who teach and study the bible in classroom settings.
